Well, there was Mario Kart DS between Double dash and Wii that shortened the time. 2 years in between DD and DS. 3 years in between DS and Wii.

Since MKDS, Mario Kart has been doing a 3 interval with the Mario Kart games, and switching off from handheld to TV. DS in '05, Wii in '08, 7 in '11, and 8 in '14. So it's safe to say the next time we'll see a Mario Kart game will be around 2017 on a handheld system. By that time, I'm guessing the 3DS will have moved on.

As far as I know...the blue shell has been in every Mario Kart game, right?
So...why did it need to be confirmed? xD

It feels like the time between Mario Kart 7 and 8 is incredibly shorter than the time there was between Double Dash and Wii as well as Wii and 7. I hope they don't start pumping out new versions really quickly, it's frustrating to have to purchase new versions practically right after the last one came out.

speaking of glitches, I was messing around on Majora's. I never did the 4th day as I never got time to (have can't play any variation of the song of time, so you can't skip forward), but I did do the fog glitch and I used Ice arrows to get to the water temple in the background of the Great Bay.

Well, the boomerang in Wind Waker actually had some uses the Hookshot didn't.
Like hitting multiple targets and helping you to cut down objects. Plus I think it was a bit quicker to use when stunning enemies.

I never actually used Farore's Wind. xD I think I tried it like once and didn't understand it when I was a kid so I just didn't bother using it ever.
Nayru's Love was fun to use at the end of the game...mainly because you can get glitched into a firewall using it and just hear Link's endless screams until you reset.

Maybe I played a bit of Dodongo's Cavern, got bored and went to do Lord Jabu Jabu instead XD

Farore's Wind was really useful.

Oh and they should take out 'double weapons'.
For example:
Boomerang and Hookshot (windwaker)
Slingshot and bow & arrow (Twilight Princes)

The moment you get the hookshot and bow & arrow, you don't even need the boomerang and slingshot anymore.

How do you play Lord Jabu Jabu before Dodongo's Cavern? o__o
It requires bombs to get into Zora's Domain so you'd need to go at least part way into Dodongo's Cavern for your bomb bag.

Pit...how can you pass on magic?! xD You don't want magic arrows, flashy spin attacks or awesome magic items? You crazy.

Seeing the Sheikah would be nice. We've only seen three of them total I believe if you don't count Sheik since he's well...not really a Sheikah or even a he. (Two of them are the Impah reincarnations and one of them was Impaz or something from the hidden village in Twilight Princess)

I liked the Wii-mote system...but personally I kinda want a regular controller back. Harder difficulty would be nice, but I don't really see it happening. Nintendo is kinda big on being kid/casual friendly...

Yeah. In Ocarina of Time, Sheik does tell you to go to the Forest Temple first. But you can also head over to the Fire Temple or Water Temple after you got the weapon from the forest temple. You can also play Lord Jabu Jabu before Dodongo's Cavern.

Marjora's Mask is almost absolute freedom in a kind of twisted way...?

What I want in a Zelda game:
> Higher difficulty, Skyward Sword was more difficult but I want waaay more difficult.

> Huge overworld you can ride your horse through but where you can also interact with it like climbing to reach secret areas (because that's the most amazing thing about overworlds: their secrets!).

What I want in the new Zelda game?
Well firstly..I would like more difficultly...
And I don't want a long tedious beginning like Skyward Sword.
I liked the map setting from Twilight Princess. Lots of places and unique dungeons.
I'm not too sure about the magic so I'll pass on that.
I'm pretty curious on what the new or not new instrument will be in the Wii U Zelda.
And yes...I need the awesome soundtracks by koji kondo. Big plus on that tongue

One thing I've heard people talk about in regards to older Zelda games that they missed that is a part of the Skyrim game is non-linear gameplay.
In the older Zelda games you could do most if not all of the dungeons out of the "intended" order and it was just a bit more of a free roam game in general. That and it had a much bigger (It felt bigger anyways) overworld.
They tried for big in Twilight Princess, but it was too empty. I feel like they should make a more populated Zelda game. Ocarina of Time had 6 (I think) settlements with people and Majora's Mask had the big Clock Town hub and three other settlements.
In contrast Twilight Princess, Wind Waker and Skyward Sword especially felt rather underpopulated and barren as far as people go. (To me at least.)
That and Hyrule IS supposed to be a "Kingdom". I'd like to see a heavily populated one that actually feels like a Kingdom rather than a village with a suspiciously wealthy castle that's as big as the town it's in. xD

Personally...I'd like a bit of choice in where I'm going in a Zelda game. Maybe they'll bring back the RPG like elements from Zelda II: Adventure of Link as well? I really want magic back honestly. We haven't had it in a main Zelda game since Wind Waker. sad Anywho...this kind of makes me wonder if they're gonna go for a more realistic look. (Texture wise at least, I don't really want nor do I think Nintendo would ever put realistic character models in a Zelda game.)
What do you guys think they might put or you would want put in the new Zelda game?

Anywho...this was a pretty long rant. I kind of really freaking love Zelda games. <3
