Unfortunately HTML5 and Flash seems to by default act differently when lines are drawn that intersect like this. It might be possible to create an algorithm that forced HTML5 to behave the same way Flash does, but it would likely be pretty complex which means it may effect performance and introduce lag (having to calculate all these custom fills while you draw. I will keep it in mind and perhaps stumble across a solution while making updates in the future.

i think a calligraphy brush would be great, like a brush that tapers at the end like a paintbrush... i just love that effect!!

Love the tools. ( I still have some trouble getting fine lines to curve the way I like without looking shakey..) Love a brush that gives really smooth fine wispy lines that curve or go straight.

NOTE: Have a diff. kinda request for RMD submits.  I have lots of draws (particularly visions/scenes)...but would like to have more space to explain them... Maybe a link page to a page of writing ?  Some of the draws have entire events that can't really be put into a short paragraph.

Appreciate all you are doing here, Mick. Thanks.

A smoothing tool like the one on Java would be great :))

Two things I think I really wish you added Mick was opacity to the layers in Canvas draw and ability to cut/copy and paste layers from individual sections of drawing to be used as repetition self-made brushes like we can do in Java.
Add bonus if one could change the size of that new pasted layer,
I still like paint brush that is like fan brush that gives one option of two colors.

Hi there Mick -- I don't know if things are still open about suggesting brushes but I was wondering - even though the "Slinky" effect of the blend tool is an unplanned goof of the FireFox 4 browser, I was wondering if you could make it into a real brush/effect? It's kind of fun! :-)

Just a thought. :-D

The tools shown in the photograph look incredibly similar to Photoshop. Could it be you're improving your art tools by copying Photoshop slightly?

I agree with Rin rin rin who posted a little while ago.. I think some of the textures that were suggested are brilliant smile.. Also the Smudge tool could do with a major up-date too, please
