Drawing Day winner guessing game

There's no prize for this game, but I thought it might be fun to play. As you know we're having a competition this coming weekend for Drawing Day. Our Drawing Day competition will be to see who can create the most drawings over this weekend in the Drawing Day category. The winner will receive any one of their drawings printed and mounted on canvas.

To make sure people don't just create quick thoughtless scribbles, only drawings with more than 5 ratings will count towards determining who has the most drawings. So they have to be good enough to get 5 ratings wink

So, the game is to guess how many drawings the winner will have created over the weekend. Whoever creates the most drawings - will it be 10, or 20, or 50? or more?
I'm really interested to see how many people can devote to this event smile

So reply with how many you think the winner will have created this weekend!

Re: Drawing Day winner guessing game

Yes but we are keeping the Drawing Day competition open all weekend because there are people in different time zones around the world where Drawing Day falls at different times compared to our server times.

Re: Drawing Day winner guessing game

Ahhh... I see! I had not realized that until this post and that definitely makes a difference in my guess! hehe

Hmm... I think 35 nice drawings (scribbles don't count, right?? lol)

48 hour competition... around an hour a drawing or so and they have to sleep sometime, right?!

Yeah, I say 35. big_smile

Re: Drawing Day winner guessing game

I don't think that anyone could create at least 20 drawings. Because, as we are all human, and we need to get good rates, we simply can't do it.
Please mick. I do not post this to discourage anyone. Feel free to delete this if it offends you. But please don't ban me.

REASONS:
A GOOD drawing consumes 10-15 minutes.
Artist then is bored.
He/She will start another one in an hour or half.
Artist's eyes get weary.
He/She dearly wants a rest.
For some other reason (probably Mum says that she will wack artist on head if he didn't do something for her (ex: Mow the lawn for her)).
Artist resumes work (drawing).
Artist attempts to sneak at midnight to the computer, but there is a probability of 20% that he/she gets caught.
At the end of day, around 9 drawings created.

Next day (SABBATH).
Artist tries to do art before going church/shopping/out.
Artist has to do homework. 2 hours out.
Artist the pleads with Mother to go to the computer. Manages to create 6 more drawings by the end of day.

Well, if an artist is NOT human, he could grab the prize easily.

Thank you!

Re: Drawing Day winner guessing game

;_; I wont have a vaccom pad pen this weekend so I wont even be able to participate, buhuhu

>>
my guess is that the winner will be an already sort of famous person who people check out and that he/she will create less then 10 drawings (that will be kept) since they will be shown anyhow (mostly to subscribers)

Re: Drawing Day winner guessing game

Although I will be drawing, I am no speed demon when it comes to cranking out the pictures, so I have bad judgment as to the amount a person could do. Lets see.., I'm guessing 36 for the most prolific and dedicated artist.

Re: Drawing Day winner guessing game

ABOUT MORE THEN 1000000! tongue lol no i think drawing day is a great idea of RMD and we will support it all. and i think more then 45 is good to be a winner of the drawing day. im with mick's idea if they are scribbling drawings they are not including the comp! i think 1/2 of all the 45 drawings have to be more then 7 rates because i think you will not get there so far to get all your 45 drawings more then 5 rates thats what i think (but if your an top artist it will be easy) big_smile

Re: Drawing Day winner guessing game

If you are very good and loves details I will say less than 10. If you don't take a break it will be 10-20. Unless if you desided to do something easy will be 10-30

If you are a scribbles and doesn't put to much details it will be 50 and up.
