Since I don't have as much time to draw these days, I thought I'd do a user comp for fun ... the key word there being "fun", so please just enjoy drawing and don't take this too seriously! 

Here's the idea:

I would like users to create drawings that are either black and white, with just accents of color .....

OR monochromatic drawings with just an overall hint of color, like sepia or bluescale (or some other color) ...

No more than two entries per user, and the drawing must either be new or drawn within the last month (ON or AFTER SEPT. 1st).  At first I wasn't going to allow existing drawings, but I realize there are some people who don't have as much time to draw, so I'll make a small exception.  I still prefer you create something new, simply because I want to encourage people to draw. 

All winning drawings will definitely be added to my Just a Touch of Color collection, but other entries may be added as well.

OK ... so let's get to the prizes:

The Winner:  I'll rate 30 drawings in your gallery (or all if you have less) and comment 5 of them, PLUS ... you may choose ONE additional prize from the following list:

1) a new drawing from me dedicated to you
2) I'll do a collaboration with you
3) you may request that I rate up to 10 additional drawings in your gallery
4) any other REASONABLE idea I haven't thought of

Second Prize:  I'll rate 25 drawings in your gallery (or all if you have less) and comment 4 of them, PLUS I'll dedicate a new drawing to you

Third Prize:  I'll rate 20 drawings in your gallery (or all if you have less) and comment 3 of them.

Fourth Prize:  I'll rate 15 drawings in your gallery (or all if you have less) and comment 2 of them.

Fifth Prize:  I'll rate 10 drawings in your gallery (or all if you have less) and comment 1 of them.

Btw, I utterly stink at thinking up prizes, so if the prizes are too lame, I'm open to ideas.   

DEADLINE: Due to demand, the new deadline is November 15th.  Anyways, the point is: have fun and be creative!     The drawings can be any style you like:  abstract, realism, manga ... even animation, if you like, as long as the color rules are followed.  I'm looking for effort and creativity ... not perfection.  Please tell me if you're joining and post your drawings here when they're done.

I'll be judging this comp with four other users:  Furubaluver101, Suave Feather, Henstud,  and Majestic, so everyone can be assured that I'm not arbitrarily picking the winners or showing favoritism.  Good luck everyone!
