We have recently decided that the email activation that requires members to unlock drawings is one small additional step that we are removing for a trial period.

This feature was originally introduced to help reduce spammers and reduce the chance of inappropriate drawings by new members who put little thought into their drawings. However, we have decided to remove this barrier to make drawing on RMD a little easier for new members.

Our moderators will be reviewing this feature to ensure it does not introduce an excess of new members scribbling and posting too many drawings without thought. After this trial period of a few weeks this feature will be evaluated to ensure this change was a positive one.
