Our colors poster competition is now live

I'm excited to announce that our latest drawing competition is live themed "Colors".

While this is a very simple theme, it will be an amazing opportunity for you to all explore with color. Create a drawing full of lots of color, or create a drawing based on one or two colors.

The second exciting part of this competition is that it is a poster competition. This simply means that the top 250 drawings will be put into a large wall poster, and 3 winners will be chosen to each receive a poster. The poster will be for sale online and anyone can purchase one of these posters.

If you would like ideas on what to draw for this competition, we have started a discussion here...

The best way to support our community is to just keep drawing - even if it's for fun and not serious. Another way is by taking time to occasionally rate and comments drawings by new or learning artists.

Re: Our colors poster competition is now live

I am happy to announce that we have finally picked the winners for this competition. Personally I have an extremely tough time picking winners for these types of competitions. There are so many deserving artists and I humbly apologize to anyone that was deserving who was not chosen as a winner. Unfortunately there can only be 3 winners and I wish we could pick many more.

The winners were announced here:

And the poster is now ready for purchase. Please consider purchasing a poster. The proceeds help make these poster competitions possible as they simply help pay for the prizes that we give away.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the colors competition. It amazes me how much talent there is in our community.

If anyone has suggestions or feedback about the poster competitions - do you like them, do you want to see more, etc. then let us know in the forums.

- Mick
