Never made an introduction when I first joined RMD so why not make one now?

There's not really a lot to say about me though.
Other than perhaps say that I'm a Manga (Fanart) artist and am only good at copying references, which is never a good start on RMD since there are lots of people that dislike Manga fanart artists. =u=

Well eitherway, nice to meet you all (again).

Hello, and welcome to RMD! Eh, I think you'll get lot's of rates, because there are lot's of people who draw with refs here. Plus, your artwork looks really good! big_smile

HI! I'm laura and i just joined this site like 3 days ago, and a thousand apologies for sounding stupid and amateur but whats a reference? or when people say ref.used. is it people just copying another picture they saw or??
also I'm into manga and fan art big_smile

Reference means picture. So instead of drawing original you use a reference and copy it.

Using a reference does not necessarily mean a copied work. I use references(photos, nature, or ideas) as a jumping off point, and alter them into something different...
