If you never heard of Bamboo Blade ever, it is a manga that is published by a magazine called Young Gangan and serialized in America by Yen Press.   The story is written by Masahiro Totsuka-sensei and Aguri Igarashi is the illustrator. The synopsis is basically about a girl named Tamaki (her nickname is Tama) Kawazoe who has just entered high school.  She loves mecha manga, especially a anime called Blade Bravers. She has a secret talent of kendo.  The adviser of the school's kendo team, Toraji Ishida, has broke and lives off instant ramen.   He wants his team to win, but all he has is a hyper 2nd year girl named Kirino Chiba.  So, when Toraji sees Tamaki saving a teacher with her bamboo broom, he instantly asks Tamaki to join  his team, but she says no, until she defeats a bully.  More people join after that.
