Our latest drawing competition "Push Yourself" is now live.



This competition is to encourage all artists on RateMyDrawings to push themselves to try something new and build their drawing skills. The theme for this competition is about growing as an artist.

Some things you can try for this competition:
- Pick a subject you don't usually draw and trying to do that
- Look at different styles of other artists or RMD members and see if you can draw using a similar style
- If you ever struggle drawing something - it might be portraits, faces, landscapes, etc. This is a perfect excuse to try and draw these things.

Being a versatile artist is not just important, but it makes us think and look at things we don't usually pay attention to with new and fresh eyes. It also helps us appreciate the artists that draw things that you may struggle with. I really want to encourage everyone to enter this month's competition... you may find a new passion or new skill that you never knew you had
