Longer descriptions

I've been thinking about making this topic for a while.

Simple. Longer descriptions.
I think there should be more like 2000 characters. Maybe more. I don't think there's such a thing as too much. If, for example, I want to write a poem in the description of my drawings, I don't feel I should be held back by the unreasonably small description limit. Or maybe I want to elaborate on the techniques I used in a drawing, or just in general.

It might only benefit a handful of people. But it's not going to get in the way for artists who write nothing in their descriptions. And it could be really important to some artists. And I don't see how it could be a remotely difficult/time-consuming edit to make.

Please consider it.

Re: Longer descriptions

I support this~

Always wish I had more room in the description area.
Sometimes there is a story behind a picture or something that takes considerable space that 250 characters just doesn't cover.

Well then...that was..."interesting".

Re: Longer descriptions

I agree. ovob

Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot. LOL. ಠ_ಠ

Re: Longer descriptions

That would be nice, so, yes!

Doing nothing sounds like a lot more fun when you have a lot to do.

Thanks. I'm glad this idea is commonly agreed with. Makes me feel less whiny about it, hah.

Re: Longer descriptions

I agree. Sometimes I wish I could add more to my description, even though I don't really have anything valuable to say.

Re: Longer descriptions

Doesn't matter. Sometimes it adds to the drawing. Just like a well-thought-of title. You know?

Re: Longer descriptions

Nooooo, it has to be enough to write the lyrics of a full song. Because sometimes a song you're listening to describes your drawing well.
