Hi there. Tom Hiddleston. <3 Taking into account that it's a work in progress, the silhouette could be more defined and the values could be pushed. It seems a bit rough at the moment.

Don't be afraid to introduce more color variation. The drawing as a whole could be less saturated too, in real life light is usualy very subtle when it literally bounces around and doesn't look as exotic. Especially reference material showing celebrities, balanced lighting conditions.

Here's an example:

Good job on the hair, maybe add more detailed strands. All in all, you're off to a good start. Thanks for the entry. <3

Hi Amy. <3 Here's some feedback: The lines you did could be more defined, especially on the jacket. The thickness/width of the brush could be a tad higher too, it can make the entire drawing pop a bit more. Good job on the hair.

The shading could be pushed a bit, there are places here and there that have random lines and no value. This should be obvious when one considers the background. At the moment it looks quite bland when looked at from a distance, it could be more interesting.

The clouds could use some work, maybe lower your opacity. And the eyes could do with higher saturation, those tend to be a vocal point.

The framing of the whole drawing could be tweaked, look up the rule of thirds and basic composition fundamentals. All in all, lovely drawing. Thanks for your entry. <3

Hi there. <3 Feedback: Right off the bat, looking at this as a thumbnail shows lack of interesting values, acking to abstract. This is not abstract. The fantasy character could use stronger values to seperate it from the background, this could apply to the background as well, to lead the eye to the vocal point.

The pose could definitely be stronger, animators have a technique where they check their 2d or 3d characters as 100% flat colored silhouette in relation to the background for interesting poses and body language. I believe it's save to say the vocal point is around the face and the bird, maybe make her arms stretch to touch the bird, or anything that leads to the vocal point, play with the poses. And the bird seems to disappear in the background, similair pallette.

Also the flowers around her little feet could be used in a more interesting way.
I really like how you introduced this swirly thing around her body that runs all the way through her hair, dynamic. You could combine this idea, maybe add some ivy flowers and loose leaves carried by a breeze swirling around the body, for example. Good job on the details floating about, you wanna keep your eyes on the prize. Hopefully this has been helpful. All in all, awesome drawing. Thanks for your entry. <3

Hi there. <3 Feedback: The background could be more defined and less stylized. The sun is too big, right off the bat. Those details on the grass you did must've took some time, here's an example of a different approach.

Notice the difference in value? It has a painterly feel to it, like most backgrounds used in anime. It's not that hard either, just choose a couple of basic colors and block out the big shapes first and keep refining. Cold colors tend to be farther away and warm colors tend to be closer. It can save you time.

As far as the foreground goes, the character could have a more interesting pose. Good job on the shading. The whole drawing seems to have a remarkably two dimensional look to it. The pose you used is one often seen on a character as Evee, here are some pose variations that could make it pop a bit more. I mentioned the same thing on drawings from other users, strong silhouettes.

http://steppcm.files.wordpress.com/2011 … ecleon.png

These poses combined with at least another object or Pokemon could engage the viewer a bit more.
It could be anything from a beach ball or another Evee, perhaps have it play with the ball or the other Evee.

Bob Ross, who's passed away already, used to create great paintings on live television with a little squirrel on his shoulder. Whenever he'd paint a landscape or something involving trees, he'd always mention how lonely trees should have friends. Objects in relationship to another are usually more engaging to the viewer than a lonely single object that's put smack in the middle. Maybe draw your Evee a friend, see what happens.

Otherwise, nice drawing. Thanks for your entry.

Could you look at this one for me? I know about the connection from the pinkie to the hand, they were on separate layers at first, and I forgot to blend it when I saved it.

Thank you!

Hi there. <3 Feedback: There's not much to add to this one. The poses are interesting, the facial expressions are clear, the background seems to be working. Maybe add a bit of saturation to the background, especially the core of the flames. What does strike me are the folds in the clothing, they could've been much more smoother. Don't be afraid to use your whole arm to create a stroke, if it doesn't turn out the way you want you can always UNDO. x3 Good job on the placement of the folds. And perhaps darken the values a bit, as it's not reading as well as it could. This manner of coloring, similair to water color drawings, is a stylization often used in anime related art. Maybe you can push that some more, just a bit tho, no overkill.

Add some debris floating around to go with the flames in the background? Move the characters even closer to eachother? Darken the lines a bit to bring out the characters? These are mere suggestions, all in all, great drawing. Thanks for your entry. Keep drawing! <3

hai ^^ Feedback: I was gonna point that out, good thing you noticed it yourself. Same here, not much to add. Maybe dial some of the values back, as they seem to be inconsistent in places.

Especially around the cherry. A bit more saturation could've been introduced to the other fingers, the tones are too similair. Remember, light is quite subtle. Good job on all the little details. As a whole it seems to be working.

All in all, great drawing. And yeah. I can only imagine your mom's reaction. lol xD Thanks for your entry. Keep drawing! ^^

Hi bestie. ^^ Feedback: As mentioned, it's supposed to be a study. You've got the values down, the hair looks a bit off, could be more defined. The background is working. Something that i've noticed in your drawings is how you tend to use harsh rim lighting, light is more subtle. Take your recent "The Hunger Games" collaborative drawing, for example. The transition between the arms and hands could be more defined, the background isn't complimenting the foreground as well as it could've. Also, her eyes are a bit off too, might wanna fix that. All in all, nice start. Thanks for your entry. ^^
