Hey guys, I don't know about you, but iv'e been thinking that the thumbnails for drawings seem to be a bit small.
I think the main thing that makes a person want to look at a drawing, is what the thumbnail looks like.
If the drawing is very well detailed, but the thumbnail doesn't show the details very well,
then the person looking at it would be less likely to actually click on it and appreciate the hard work the artist put into it.
For example, i have a drawing on my profile right now, which you can see here. ![]()
As you can see, the thumbnail looks fairly dark, and doesn't show much detail. But if you click on it, you can see it is fairly
well detailed.
I don't see what the site would lose from making the thumbnails bigger, apart from there possibly being less pictures on one
page, making searching for a drawing more tedious. But if that problem ever arises, then there could possibly be an option
for a user to change the size of a thumbnail on their page.
There are a few suggestions. Maybe you guys/girls have a suggestion as well?
let me know what you think.

My drawing thumbnails appear dreary too. Just have a look at them! (You won't feel like clicking any!

However ugly my drawings look, I do put some amount of detail into them. But then, maybe it's because I use black backgrounds...

just click the damn picture
or press ctrl and scroll the mouse well and you'll have a bigger thumb.
I don't really see everybody doing that. No offence but that's not really solving this problem.

By the way there is some general problem with thumbnails in drawings made by flash tool, the image and thumb have the same resolution as in java, so the problem lies somewhere in algorithm of thumbnail generation for flash.

Eh. I don't know, personally, if there were bigger thumbnails, I'd feel the site would look a little cluttered, which isn't very attractive to look at.
But while the whole "the thumbnail doesn't show enough detail, makes my picture look bad, etc" topic, maybe there's a way to just enhance the thumbnails instead?

Sounds like a great idea! Hopefully they can figure something out.
