This post is inspired by this : i was watching some old videos on youtube ( like 2007 or something) and one of the images from a video was a pic i realized i was already saw here . the pic was posted few months ago and i remember i commented how cool it is and how original ( having no description) ..etc . the idea is that i really respect original art and i can put myself in the place of the original artist and it s not a nice feeling to see your ideas are stolen, posted and other person will get the wrong attention .
I understand that stealing and copy will always happen but maybe some people here if they are too lazy to write at least " ref used" if not posting the link from the original maybe if they have 2 more categories : original art and not original maybe will use them .
I m not talking about using a ref for drawing a hand for example , or taking a pic to learn to draw waves , etc , i m talking about reproducing someone's else creation (with copyright or not )
I know that before to check the " agree to out terms " you already had this cover at this link :
but i see almost nobody reads it
so really hope this is not already suggested and if it s not possible it s ok

All those times I thought the artist had a brilliant imagination and great skills...
Later I figure out that they are just randomly redrawn works. They just never mentioned it. Felt like I was lied to. I assume, by default, that all works are original.
The fact they do not mention that the work was copied and do not link to the original artist is disrespectful. That's the least you owe. Link to the original artist, for the love of art. Do not take the pictures on the net for granted.
But yes. Two categories seem fair.
Copying works and putting originals on the canvas are two different things to me.
there is fanart for that. like characker with original pose or just write ref used. another category wont come.
for manga drawing it s great but we should have those 2 categories for all type of drawings , is strange to call a landscape if it s copied "fan art"
