For users having problems getting Java installed on their computers for the Java Drawing tool, you may try the following. Please only do this if you are comfortable installing and uninstalling programs on your computer.
First, if you have been having problems, it is best to uninstall java from your computer and install a new version to make sure everything is working OK.

Then restart your computer and install the latest version of Java...
For Windows Vista, XP, 2000, 2003 Server:
- Visit http://www.java.com/en/ and click the download button.
- Restart your computer
For older versions of Windows (95, 98, ME)
- You will need to install an older version of java that should still work with our drawing tool.
- You can download Java 1.5 from this page: http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index_jdk5.jsp
- Visit the link above and click the DOWNLOAD link on the page above next to where it says:
Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 16
- Follow the instructions to install on your computer
- Restart your computer

Some users have reported errors like "sevaral java virtual machines running in the same process caused an error".
if it says this, you have different versions of java installed. Go to your program files and look for all instances of programs called JAVA. Try uninstalling ALL of them, then restart and just install the latest version from java.com
