The lines look fairly smooth, but you can try the pen rathr than pencil to see how the line renders. I have trouble with canvas draw, and prefer Java

pencil or brush..hope this makes sense..
it is lovely..Now It seems more clear to me, seeing your and vis in vis comments, you both may have chosen a pencil size bigger while having the drawing area at 75%, the real final effect is when it is at 100% size, so you may check while drawing..
