Comment: You inspired me to read the Poe Poem, "Raven" & I am grateful! Very interesting... & I was imaginging how creepy it would have been to have a raven tap on my door when my husband passed away, saying "nevermore". Very scary & distressing. 5♥+

Comment: Fascinating - I've always admired the Raven and Poe's work in general...thin line between horror and beauty.

Comment: When I read that story, along with "The Pit And The Pendulum" I was freaked out.. They were awesome stories though. This is exactly how I picture the raven.. "Be that word our sign of parting, bird or fiend!" I shrieked, upstarting-- "Get thee back into the tempest and the Nights Plutonian shore! Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken! Leave my loneliness unbroken!--quit the bust above the door! Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!" Quote the Raven "Nevermore" !!!!!
