Comment: Back then, there was no extra layer for guidelines. This is why I had to sketch them straight to the canvas.

Comment: Did you used the guide lines ? I actually use guide lines, then color, and then do the lineart, it looks more clean, and it dont take alot of ink. Tough, my animes are in 2d -.-;;;
