i think this is really good...i dont see much you can improve on...maybe more prominent shading? maybe you could work on making the eyes shinier so they'll look prettier =) i really dont see much else...except the wing looks kinda outta place

Background is fine because it is consistent. Lack of consistency is one of the biggest problems for amateur artists. I would leave the autograph out since it is not consistent. It distracts and breaks the composition.
