I am very happy today, as my grandmother survived a very important surgery on her process in defeating cancer. After two denials, doctors in a third hospital agreed to operate her. She is now safe. I and all my family is happy! ^^ She's a true hero^^

Comment: it does signify cancer, check "red ribbon" on wikipedia. It symbolyses aids yes, but is used in a large variety of contexts.
