This is my interpretation of Juan Sanchez Cotan's painting: He's in my opinion one snazzy still life artist XD i hope you like it! Refs in the first comment. (I lost the chi file, so this is bout 2 hours work)

It means that life is preserved through a string I guess
There is a theory that apples and cabbage should be kept on string. At least, that's what the melon said. Awesome drawing. 5H
