This tutorial describes how you can use the MouseKeys utility in Windows for your RMD animations. It can also be handy for general drawing with the RMD drawing tool.
Step 1MouseKeys is a utility for Windows that allows you to use the keys of the number-pad on your keyboard to control your mouse pointer on the screen.
Open the control panel from the start menu and click on Accessibility Options.
Step 2Go to the Mouse tab and select Use MouseKeys.
Step 3The Num Lock key is used to turn MouseKeys on and off.
Step 4Use any of the highlighted number keys to move your mouse pointer.
Step 5The 0/Ins key is used to activate and hold the mouse button on.
The ./Del key will release the mouse button.
When MouseKeys is turned on you will still be able to use your mouse to move the pointer.
Step 6Using MouseKeys you will now be able to draw perfect squares, triangles and other shapes you can use in your animations or RMD drawings in general.
MouseKeys is also a handy tool for filling the canvas with one flat colour and using it as the background for your animation.
