Using the fill-tool for creating hair shapes

Step 1

First select fill tool in the RateMyDrawings Drawing application.

 

Step 2

Hold down the mouse and draw long zig-zag triangle shapes like this. This will give you pointed shapes on one side.

 

 

Step 3

Keep drawing but now draw linesback over the long zig-zag triangle shapes you already made. This will give you many long hair-type shapes.

 

Step 4

Use this method many times. You can use diferent colors and transparency levels to create shading and different levels of hair.

 

Step 5

Here is a drawing I created using this effect. Note how I created many many layers of these shapes suing different colors and transparency. Practice and you wll perfect using this tool to create an interesting hair or fur effect.
