How to animate using stick figures

Following are some basic tips and steps I take to animate stick figures on RMD.

Step 1

First you have to begin with his legs by making 2 lines meeting a the top using the line tool size 4.

 

Step 2

Continue by making another line from the legs upwards, it should be long as the legs. To make the hands make another 2 lines meeting at the top of the chest. (It is better to look at the pictures then reading my BLA BLA BLA)

 

 

Step 3

To make the head just place a dot with the pen tool size 6.

 

Step 4

This is the structure of a stick figure where there are the joints. (The white dots are the points from where you can make the stick figure move)

 

Step 5

These are some examples of the previous step. To make the figure more realistic you can add some objects such as a bazooooooka.

 

 

Step 6

To make it move you have to make the stick figure, then cover it with the fill tool in white with 80% transparency and then make another figure as if it continued moving and BLA BLA BLA.
