How to use only lines to create a cool abstract star. This tutorial requires the use of only one tool - the line tool.
Step 1First choose a background color, and a color for your line. I prefer to have a black background with a bright colored line to make it pop out more. Here I chose a black background
<<<<<<<<<<
But you can choose any color you want.
First, just simply make a cross like this
<<<<<<<<
Step 2Now...from the top of the line (at the orange dot), make a line...extending to the yellow dot. (The end of the line always needs to be a little ways to the right)
Step 3Now you need to make another line. This needs to start at the orange again, but this time a little ways down from your last line.
Like last time, you need to make the line end at the yellow dot, a little ways to the right of your last line.
It should look like this
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Step 4Make a third line, doing the same thing as step 3.
It should look like this
<<<<<
Step 5Keep repeating these steps until you get all the way to the bottom (when you reach the intersection of the cross)
It should look like this
<<<<<
Step 6Now that your done with the first quarter, start the next.
Repeat step number two...starting at the orange and ending at the yellow.
Step 7Finish the next quarter just like the last one.
Now you have half the star!
Step 8Start your next quarter....but upside-down! Start at the bottom where the orange dot is....making your line to the yellow, just like you were doing before.
Step 9Finish the next quarter.
It should look something like this.
Step 10Do your last quarter...just like you did before....
And your done!!!!
cool huh??
