Drawing a cub from the lion king on MS Paint has never been easier.
Step 1Okay, let's start with the mouth and nose. The mouth should be two curves lines, connected to a somewhat triangular nose.
Step 2Next, we draw out our cub's lower jaw. Most jaws should be flat and fluffy. For older lions, you might want to lower it and make less fur lines.
Step 3Let's go ahead and start the other side of the head. Depending on you cub's origin, it will have a different appearance. If you cub is potrayed as evil, he/she'll want a pointed cheek. If it is potrayed as good, it will have a rounded cheeck. Now for the eyes. They should look like two rounded rectangles. Add the eyebrows and connecting lines.
Step 4Follow the same rules in the last step to add the other cheek.
Step 5Now to finish the head. The inner ear should connect to the fur line. The far ear should be different, either turned back or forwards. Then you connect the two together. You can add a tuft of mane if it is a boy, or a few strands of fur if it's a girl.
Step 6Now, let's choose an eye. girl cubs may have eyelashes while boys may have eye lines. Do NOT connect closed eyes, or it will make them look detatched.
Step 7Now add the eyes.
Step 8Now that our cub's head is finnished, lets start it's body. The neck should be somewhat thick and don't forget the chest is furry as well. Next, add a shoulder. Don't forget your cub's muscles.
Step 9Now, give you cub a back. You will be able to go back and edit this later.
Step 10Give your cub another leg. This leg should be either in front, or behind the one closest to you.
Step 11Add the cub's stomach. Make sure it could connect to the chest nicely and is not to thin.
Step 12Add hind legs and a tail. Follow the same rules for the front legs with the hind. The tail should get thinner and thinner as it reaches the end and end with a tuft of hair.
Step 13time to get creative! Add any markings, tatoos, collars, accesories, scars, ANYTHING!
Step 14Don't put away your creativity yet! If you want your lion normal colors, great. If you want it to be a fantasy lion, AWSOME! Go wild, at this step. I can't tell you how to draw, now can I? For this tutorial, I used my fantasy lion cub, Jacko, as my model. Dont save and quit just yet. We still have one more step to go.
Step 15Add a backround, and put in your trademark and BOOM! there you have you first lion king style lion cub! Make any shading, final tweeks and stare in satisfaction while your freinds stare in awe! don't forget to name your cub. I personally didn't put his name in this picture, but rather mine. hope you're satisfied with your new lion cub! Now go out and play!
