animal Drawing Tutorial

 

Step 1

Draw a line showing the basic body shape; for this one I'm drawing a vertical line because my cat is sitting.

 

Step 2

Next, draw circles to represent the body and head. They don't have to be perfect; these are just guidelines.

 

 

Step 3

Connect the circles and add legs.

 

Step 4

Add ears, a muzzle, eyes, and a tail.

 

Step 5

Erase all unnecessary lines and adjust details such as adding extra lines, etc. If you want to change something in the picture, now is the time to do it (I've moved the tail).

 

 

Step 6

Color and shade it, and you're done!

(NOTE: try not to make yours look like plastic or modeling clay. I'm sure you're better at shading than I am...-is mortified at level of shading skill-)
