Use this method to create abstract designs, or realistic wood patterns.
Create a new blank JavaDraw canvas (any setting). Then select the pencil tool and switch it to Brush Size 30.
For this step, scribble around using your favorite color or colors, leaving some areas white if you want.
For the third step, go to Effects on the tool bar and select Blur, then Box Blur. Once you have done that, change the Blur Amount to 100, but do not change the number of Iterations. Repeat this step 3 to 4 times.
Finally, switch to the Paint Bucket tool and select a color of your choice. Click on an area in your drawing, and you should see a line resembling a Zebra or Tiger stripe. If you continue to click around, your canvas should look something like the drawing to the left.
Finally, use your own creativity and perhaps a variety of colors and textures to bring your piece to life. This method can be used to create beautiful abstracts, or realistic wood or animal stripe patterns. Hope you find this useful!!
