A tutorial for any member who wishes to learn how to create the "Grainy" style I use.
Step 1
Choose a background color (Example: I'm creating a pink rose so the BG will be a mid tone hue of pink) NEVER have a blank canvas.
Also create a Sketch and make it easier on yourself further along.
Step 2Next you wanna color the image ( Don't add details or perfect lines because they wont really show up later)
You basically just wanna add the dark tones and lighter tones.
By the way do all these steps on a different layer.
Step 3Now add a new layer (Above all the others) and you wanna click on effects, scroll down to noise, and click on Render Monochromatic.
Step 4I find it easier to then go down to the layers box and click on BURN and then change the opacity down to what you feel the right texture amount should be. Play around with these options and find the perfect one for your drawing.
Step 5So now you can do touch ups and add some more colors here and there and submit!
Hope you learned something new or at least had fun seeing my drawing process.
