How to draw 'Haruhi' (Ouran High School Host Club)

In this tutorial you will learn how to draw 'Haruhi' from the Japanese television series 'Ouran High School Host Club'.

Step 1

First draw a circle.

Step 2

Now draw a small line (1-2cm) coming out of the bottom of the circle.

Step 3

Next draw two diagonal lines moving back towards the circle from the bottom of the small line.

Step 4

Curve the diagonal lines slightly, so that they look more natural. Also rub out the small line.

Step 5

Just resting on the inside of the circle, draw two ovals (these will be the ears).

Step 6

Next we add the hair. Draw some different shaped spikes with rounded edges across the middle of the head, just above the ovals.

Step 7

Try smoothing out the top of the head and some of the spikes. Now would also be a good point to start rubbing out any unwanted lines.

Step 8

Now you draw two circles for the eyes, just below the hair.

Step 9

Inside the cirlces, draw an oval (this will be the pupil). Above the eye draw a smooth curve, and another curve above that.

Step 10

Rub out the circles around the eye. Draw some eyebrows above the eye too.

Step 11

Next draw a line from the hair down the face (it should end where the ears end).

Now draw a small line across the bottom of the face to make the mouth, and a thinner line underneath that.

Now just add some finishing touches.

All you need to do now is to add some colour and a background and there you have it! Haruhi!
