Step 1

Hello to my first tutorial ever! ^^
Lets just hope this comes out well..

Okay! To start any drawing you need to have at least a tiny idea on what you want to draw! Go to google/photobucket/deviantart or anywhere else and find yourself a nice reference picture..!

Step 2

Step1~
*Take the pencil/pen tool and set- size to 1, Opacity to 100-120, Color to 40%-45%..
*Create a very rough sketch with all the important details on layer 1. This layer later will be the background layer.


(RMD killed the quality..)

 

 

Step 3

Step2~
*Create a new layer above the sketch
*Set the sketch layer to 50% opacity
*Take the pencil/pen tool and set- size to 1, Opacity to 255, Color to 100%, set to straight lines
*Make clean outlines



(Made it bigger so you can see better)

 

Step 4

Step3~
*Take the eraser tool and erase the sketch
*Create a layer above the sketch/background layer and below the outlines
*Pick the base color and carefully color (staying inside of the lines) everything that is in that color.

 

Step 5

Step4~
*Click the "Lock Alpha" so you dont have to worry about going out of the lines
*Pick a darker color and add the shades

 

 

Step 6

Step5~
*Create new layer above the face layer
*Put the base color then "Lock alpha" and color the shadows

(In my case you cant see much changes because the base color is white)

 

Step 7

Step6~
*New layer again
*Put in the base colors (If you are drawing in black and white make sure that the gray colors are always different from each other)
*Color the darker places of the head protector
*Color the lighter places of the head protector

 

Step 8

Step7~
*New layer
*Base color
*Shadows



..nothing much more to write here..

 

Step 9

Step8~
*New layer (make a new layer for every little piece..)
*Base for the little belts
*Shadows

 

Step 10

Step9~
Yay eyes! ^^

*Black base (they are totally black so no shadows)
*The little white dot

 

Step 11

Step10~
*New layer
*Base hair color
*Shadows

 

Step 12

Step11~ final step
*Pick the Sketch/background layer
*(In my case) Take the Air Brush on size 50 and make the (only hing that is in color) background


Sometimes I make another layer above all layers to fix some little things or just add some more small details.. ^^

 

Step 13

And SAVE TO WEBSITE!
