How To Draw Cleva =3=

How to draw my oc Cleva my style~~ ah youll also learn how i color skin and hair and clothes :O yay

Step 1

First Draw a guide. İts basically planning out what you wanna draw, and it helps out ALOT. i just recently started using guides and i realized how much it helped me improve. planning out your drawings before you start is really important. -- İ chose green guide color because its my favorite color. No special reason :p

 

Step 2

Yay the lineart~~ ofcourse its suposed to be more detailed than the guide, and you can add some stuff you forgot to add in the guide. This is basically what your going to color in later on. Do this in a different layer, on top of the guide layer.

 

 

Step 3

Ok this is basically how the finished lineart is suposed to look :D i always get excited when my lineart is finished so i can start coloring... ok now delete the guide layer and add a layer beneath the lineart layer. That will be the layer youll color the skin. Tip: İ always add 12 layers from the start deleting the first layer so i dont have to add all the layers later on.

 

Step 4

İ always choose a yelowwish color to start off with the skin. Dont worry if some color springs out from the side. We will be deleting that later on =3=

 

Step 5

Choose an orangish color and make the opacity less than half... ah and the brush size, make it about 5-10

 

 

Step 6

Ok thats how its gonna look after you add the orange shadows. :D i know it looks bad here but it will look better later on =3=

 

Step 7

Choose a color thats closer to red and shade it babeh~~ =3=

 

Step 8

More Shadows~~~ You might wanna use dark red to shade darker shadings. Also for the highlights, i use yellow and white.

 

Step 9

İ just added some blush and a lil pink around the skin =3=

 

Step 10

Ok now open the gray background shizz and start deleting the leftover skin~~

 

Step 11

Thats how it will look after the leftover skin is deleted~~

 

Step 12

EYESSSSS. first color in a base color, than shade the top a lil, and add some highlights to the bottom and middle.

 

Step 13

Ok now zoom out and close the gray bg thingy. So far so good~~

 

Step 14

On to another layer below the skin layer~~ color in the hair base and get shadin and highlightin :D

 

Step 15

Shadow it baby~~ ahaha (remember to keep the opacity below half when shadowing or highlightin stuff)

 

Step 16

Add some highlights~~ remember! always below hallf

 

Step 17

Now add the white light thingy~~ and the hair is done!

 

Step 18

DONT GO TO ANOTHER LAYER YET! color the glasses ON the hair layer.

 

Step 19

Color the glasses some more~~

 

Step 20

Go to another layer below the hair layer and start coloring the shirt base~~ i chose red cuz it goes with her hair. kinda.

 

Step 21

Highlight the shirt~~ i always higlight clothing before i shade it, somehow it seems easier.

 

Step 22

Add some shadows on the shirt~~ this will make the highlights STAND OUT

 

Step 23

İ acidentaly deleted how to color the other shirt, sadly, D: so im stuck with this step. Ok open the gray thing again and check if any of the colors are sticking out

 

Step 24

On a layer beneath all the shirt layers, shade her back with green

 

Step 25

Draw the bg and Voilla its finished 8D AHAHAHAHA
