How i color screenshots ;D

well you'll see how i color everything every detail counts ;D also, the difference between my drawing and the reference XD

Step 1

First Put the layer of the lineart on multiply, it's very important cause that way, you don't have to re-draw the lineart.

 

Step 2

Then put the right brush size, and Smoothing %'s (by putting Smoothingtool on 5o% you'll only have clean lines.

i actually didn't use 15% on the brushtool XD but i'm stupid so i wrote that XD i normaly use for the Background 60/70%.

 

 

Step 3

Put the Backround layer ALWAYS underneath everything!!!

Also the lineart layer has to be on top all the time.

 

Step 4

Only color the parts where it's shown (it can be messy, just look at mine XD)

after you've done that, put it on Lock Alpha, that way, you're only drawing on the part where you colored. (!!!!WARNING: if you make a new layer don't keep it on lock alpha!!!!)

you can see that i made the size of the brush bigger ;D

 

Step 5

and so one make the Background detailed, now you see it hogh quality, but not for long ;D oper the "effects" bar and you'll see the "blur" option.

 

 

Step 6

then you'll see another bar, and i choose 2 and 2.

(i know it doesn't look like the original background XD)

 

Step 7

Now We'll begin coloring Sasuke's skin, i slected everything that is his skin, cause you can't see it very well XD

you'll have to click the + to get a new layer, alway put the newest layer above the old layer, otherwise you can't color over it.

(REMINDER: It was still on Lock alpha, so i showed that i removed it)

 

Step 8

okay, i'm done with the lighter skin, so i selected all the places where his shadow comes.

(don't forget to put it on Lock alpha again!)

(and yeah i know his skin is to light XD)

 

Step 9

I've added the shadows, but the ,most important thing is, that i ALWAYS put his eyes in the same layer as his skin, i actually don't really know why, it's just easier :D

(it's still on lock alpha but it doesn't have to be, i'm jsut weird, that i still have it on lock alpha ;D XD)

[i wonder how many times i've typed "lock alpha" TAT]

 

Step 10

okay, Sasuke's eyes are now do'ne and still in the "Skin" layer.

as you can see (maybe) i turned the lock button off ;D (it's annoying to type "alpha" =3=)

okay, Now make a new layer called "Hair".

 

Step 11

okay, A new layer for his hair, already said that before, so i selected what i should draw again,

and not in this one, but i think in the next one you'll see a major blooper XD

 

Step 12

yessssss XD

his hair is waaaay to light XD lol i fail ;D

anyways the next one is the right one.

 

Step 13

well it's still not the right color, but it's better XD

i.. think D:

anyways, now you'll have to give his hair shadow, but there isn't that many XD you can see what needs to be shaded via the orange shapes.

(And don't forget to put it on Lock!!!)

 

Step 14

Okaaaaay, And Now add a new Layer for his cloths ;D

(don't forget to unlock it)

 

Step 15

i already shade it and everything, cause i forgot to printscreen it XD

okay, the red shapes are the normol color and the yellow is the shadow.
now is only his arm.. thingy left to color.

(don't forget to put it on lock when you're about to color the shadows)

 

Step 16

And it's Finished ;D

the only thing that's left to do is putting your signature somwhere i your drawing, but NEVER put it i the right corner!!!!!

cause the RMD sign will flag it D:
