Hihi! For those of you who are requesting a colouring tutorial from me, here's an example of one of my drawings called "Fallen". I hope you enjoy this tutorial! If you have any other requests, please feel free to ask me! I would love to help you :D
Step 1start out with a line art
Step 2fill the background with blue
IMPORTANT NOTE*: Always add new layers for different colourings/parts. This makes colouring easier, as well as erasing :D
lol, you can see the the BRS screen capture thing (don't like this program)
Step 3add clouds, and shades
Step 4fix and erase the part that covers the person
IMPORTANT NOTE*: always have the line art layer on top of all layers. This would not lead to colours over lapping the lines!
Step 5gives this person a light skin colour
Personal Tip: I had the background in blue so I can see the colours being filled. If I left the background in white/in clouds, it would hurt my eyes (too bright), or disrupts me from colouring.
Do so by clicking the "black dot" beside each layers to set them as invisible
Step 6add light skin shades
Step 7darker colour is used to shape out the face
Step 8fix and erase the "get in the way parts"
Step 9wants to give this person a light yellow hair =.=
start with a light yellow colour
Step 10add hair shades
Step 11fix, add details/shine to the hair and erase "get in the way" parts
Step 12the skirt part :D
start with a light black colour and then add shades to it!
Step 13fix and erase
Step 14since the clothe is white, jump right into shades!
Step 15fix/add details and erase!
Step 16add blue
Step 17add shades/details, and erase!
Step 18red tie!
Step 19add shades and details XD
Step 20Colour in the eyes and set all layers as visible!!
This is the overall colouring of the drawing O.O"
Almost done :D
Step 21adjust the opacity of layers so the colours could look even
Step 22Add some finishing touches and done!
Personal Tips: I move the finishing touches' layer above the line art so that it can show over the lines :D
I hope this helps!
