manga Drawing Tutorial

 

Step 1

first before i do ANYTHING else i organize my canvas to this so i can see the canvas better and feel organized.

 

Step 2

then i get a light blue like select in the first step and draw my figure out

 

 

Step 3

then i draw the line art i go of the line art with the tool selected above at a 3 brush size and when drawing long continuous lines i use a smoothness of 20-50 i go over one line no higher then 2 times for bold lines (be sure to make a new layer when drawing lineart over the figure layer and lighten the figure layer ) :D

 

Step 4

flat color for skin starting point

 

Step 5

shadow color i use the brush tool to get the effect you may see

 

 

Step 6

then i do the hair i didnt break the hair down that much i just put plain color on it the use multiply alot to get the strokes >.>

 

Step 7

did the same thing i did on the skin but put a texture on the clothes

 

Step 8

shirt was like pants and skin

 

Step 9

if u did everything right :D you will get something like this if you don't show the lineart layer
