This tutorial will show you how I drew my L drawing. (my english's not very good but i hope you'll understnad something.XD)
Step 1Step 1: first draw a sketch with the pencil(20-25 transparency) in the canvas or the guide layer. I usually use from 10 to 15 % of my ink.
Step 2Step2: then, pick your colors!XD
Step 3Step 3: Now ,lets ad some colours! Lets Start with the skin.
1- base colour- 50-58 transparency (if its over 80,you won’t be able to see the sketch very clearly, unless you drew it in the guide layer).
Step 4Step 4: now the shading! XD (fill tool and airbrush)(transparency 10 to 35)
1-ad a colour that’s a little bit darker than the one you used for the base. (depends on where the light source is).
2-Again, ad a colour that’s darker then the one at 1,then the 2, then the 3…etc. repeat this 4 or 5 times.
3-After, ad some white(20-25 trans. ) (depends on where the light source is)(airbrush)
The colour you used shouldn’t be too dark. You see the little circle in the color palette, that’s the limit.
Step 5Step 5: shading the eyes. ad some details to the face. (fil tool and pencil)
1-retrace in black the sketch you drew earlier.(eyes, nose ,chin ,neck and mouth)
2-put some white around the eyes(70-75 trans.)and on the mouth.
3-put some dark on the eyes.(85-100 trans.)
Step 6Step 6: hair and clothe shading.(fill tool am airbrush)
1-it’s a little bit like shading the skin only this time it’s the hair. Start with a base colour (85-95 trans.)
Step 7Step 7: continuation of step 6. exactly the same thing as step 4.
1- ad a colour that’s a little bit darker than the one you used for the base. (depends on where the light source is).
2 - Again, ad a colour that’s darker then the one at 1,then the 2, then the 3…etc. repeat this 4 or 5 times.
3 - After,ad some white(20-25 trans.) (depends on where the light source is)(airbrush)
4-for the clothe, well… I put some dark where there’s folds? Plissement
5-after that, if there’s some ink left, clean up a little.
Step 8Voila!!XD
