Step 1

Hey there! Welcome to my little tutorial on how to draw different types of manga eyes! I hope it helps you - enjoy!

Step 2

Alright, lets start off with a girly/childlike eye! First draw a circle (1), then draw an oval inside the circle and another oval inside that (2). Next, erase the bottom-left of the circle (3) and add colour to the outside oval (4). Then all you need to do is erase some of the oval to make the eye look shiney (5) and then you're done!!

Here's an example of the eye we just drew!

Now lets move on to drawing a bit more of a serious/masculine eye! First you need to draw a slightly rectangular shape that's curved at the top and at the corner, and then erase the bottom (1). Next you need to draw a line below that and add a small circle between it and the rectangular shape (2). Draw in the pupil (3) and add colour to the outer-circle (4). Then just add some white circles like in the previous eye (5!) Finished!!

Here's an example of the eye we just drew!

Step 6

Here's an eye that can be used for both male and female! First draw a big oval shape (1) and erase the bottom left side of it (2). Then add a line just underneath that (3) and draw in the iris and pupil (4)! Then all you need to do is colour the eye and add some shine to it (5)! Done!
