portrait Drawing Tutorial

 

Step 1

Give draw the outline. It need not be detailed at this stafe (i had a tough time with my mouse). Try to be clean ...and make sure his face to be perfect because once you start coloring u will find it difficult to correct!

 

Step 2

Add a simple touch of color ...dont try make details at this stage, just identify the skin tone and lighting effects. (Note shadow near nose, cheek, and so on)

 

 

Step 3

Continue adding detail by detail... in the eyes, lips, and all features.

 

Step 4

I continue to complete the hat and the texture of the leather! (i couldn't make that so perfect, but some how managed) and creating the hair ...(i didnt use any layer...bcoz i don't like using it)....

 

Step 5

The clothes and the hair i did in corel b'coz of fine detail needed! The gun also needed wooden texture.

 

 

Step 6

Done! I had difficult time with his hand giving the drawing a suitable background! At this stage add detail on his jewellery, gun and so on.
