Alright, it had to be said: after a yearlong hiatus, I'm going to have to officially say that I'm off this site. Most likely for good, unless something comes up that makes being here worth my time. It was a nice 5 year run, but I'm continuously disappointed with the quality of conversation in this site and there just doesn't seem to be a reason for me to be here anymore. Same goes for my DeviantArt. I'm never going to stop drawing, but it won't be here. How to draw a celebrity

If you've ever attempted to draw a portrait of a celebrity or portrait from a reference, chances are you've been there- in the final steps of finishing the portrait that has taken you weeks, you realize that the portrait you've been drawing looks like a completely different person than the person in your reference. This can be a problem if your model is a famous figure or easily recognizable.
