Well actually semester 1 finishes pretty soon. You do 1 minor and 1 major assignment, and then your exam.

But yeah u__U I need to lift my game. Sociology and Psychology do overlap a bit. However Psychology is a science that focuses more on the development of the individual, while Sociology focuses the groups within society, and society as a whole.

I got back my first Philosophy and Aboriginal studies essay today. Aboriginal studies: 65% Credit. Philosophy: 57% Pass. At least.. I.. passed them? Dx Luckily they are only worth 10%/15% of my totally mark, so all is not completely lost.

I even sent this email the day the assignment was due to the Psychology unit coordinator at 4am after having like a panic attack xD Sooo embarrassing, I looked at the email when I got home thinking, what was I thinking o_O

I'm studying Psychology A, Sociology A, Philosophy: ethics & equality, A colonised land: Indigenous Australian history. My psychology assignment was the worst thing i've ever written in my life, I don't even want it marked, I'm so embarrassed of it Dx

I remember hearing that reading books loads of content when cramming will just go in one ear and out the other. So I wouldn't suggest that, besides it's just about the most boring way to study. Really, you'll do fine though :)

rather childish and stupid, but I found it helpful and it made studying a bit more fun. So maybe it will help you too :D

over until you know it off by heart really helps. get creative with it and turn it into a song xD It really will help you remember. Drawings and symbols also help you by tieing a image to a concept. Plus you get to draw! This stuff probably sounds

coordinated cue cards are amazingly helpful, which you only put 5-7 key points on the each card so you will remember them. And as daggy as this will sound recording yourself reading out the main ideas you need to remember and replying that over and-

Well you wont do well with that attitude xP I crammed in 8 essays worth of exams last year in the space of about 1 week and managed okay, you have 1 month! So it's absolutely possible :D You just gotta learn how to make studying fun, colour-

I just don't feel I'm cut out for it and this is only first semester, it's only gonna get worse.

It's not that is hard, it's just the standards are SO much higher than I'm used to, like these are serious professionals who have taught all over the world and are experts in their fields D; it's just really intimidating I suppose.
