I think  color can make your painting more vivid, eye-catching.
If you really like drawing, try to attend some training class will make you feel  enjoyment of  communicating painting skills with others.

I really love drawing. I didn't go for coaching because I thought any arts like drawing, dancing, singing etc are gifts of God and there is no need for any formal training. I usually do pencil drawing. I don't like to use colors. But I have seen a picture drawn with oil painting … t-sunrise/ I liked the way they have shaded the water. I tried to shade with pencil but it didn't come good. Now I wish to learn oil painting. Can I get a basic tutorial for oil painting?
